Daraz profit calculator
Type a selling price and find out what is actually left after Daraz has taken its share — then after your own cost and packing. No sign-up, nothing saved.
The order
What the buyer pays for the item.
Leave at 0 if delivery is free to the buyer.
Sets the commission rate. Leave it blank to use a 10% placeholder.
Province sets the VAT charged on Daraz's fees, not on your sale.
Your side
What the unit landed on your shelf for.
Per parcel — box, filler, tape, label.
Enter a selling price to see where it goes.
What this actually takes off
The gap between a selling price and a payout is not one deduction. It is a stack of them, and most sellers can name three of the twelve:
- Commission — a percentage set by the product's category, which is why the category box matters more than anything else on this page.
- VAT on Daraz's fees — charged on the commission, the payment handling and the delivery, at your province's rate. It is VAT on their service to you, not on your sale to the buyer.
- Payment handling — charged on collecting the money.
- Item handling — a flat charge that steps up with the order value.
- Free delivery and vouchers — the part of those offers you agreed to fund when you joined the campaign. Not a fee Daraz charges for selling; a discount the buyer received and you paid for.
- Withheld tax — income tax and sales tax, taken at source.
Then your own two: what the goods cost you, and what the packing cost. Those are the ones no marketplace can tell you, and the ones that decide whether the order was worth taking.
The number to be suspicious of
If this calculator says a price is profitable and your bank says otherwise, the calculator is not wrong about arithmetic — it is missing a line. Returns are the usual one. A parcel that comes back still costs its delivery legs, and a product with a twenty percent return rate is priced by its returns, not by this page.
The way to settle it is to stop estimating: read one real settlement file line by line and compare it to what you expected. Ten minutes, once, and you will know which of your assumptions is the expensive one.
Questions
Is this calculator accurate?
It is an estimate built from Daraz's published fee structure, and it is only as current as the rates behind it — this page says when they were last checked. Treat the answer as a guide for pricing, and treat your settlement statement as the truth about what you were actually paid.
Why is my real payout different from this?
Usually because of something this calculator cannot know: a campaign you joined, an adjustment, a refund from an earlier cycle landing in this one, or a category rate that has changed since the table was last checked. The settlement file lists every one of those as its own line.
Does it include withholding tax?
Yes, both income tax and sales tax withheld at source are taken off, because they come out of the payout. In Pakistan the income tax withheld here does not come back to you later, so it belongs in the cost of the sale rather than in a receivable.
What should I put in product cost?
What the unit actually cost you to have on the shelf, landed — the purchase price plus whatever it took to get it there. Not the listed price, and not an average across a category. Packing goes in its own box, because it is per parcel rather than per product.
Do I need an account to use this?
No. Nothing here is saved, nothing is sent anywhere, and there is no sign-up. Every figure you type stays in your own browser.
